"We always look forward to going to race at Berlin," remarked Glenn Luckett, CRA Super Series Director. "It is one of the premier short tracks in the country, with great fans who really enjoy good racing. VanDoorn, held on to finish in second with Chris Anthony in third, Alec Carl in fourth and Brian Campbell in fifth. The entire top five were all local competitors, having competed at some time at Berlin Raceway in regular Saturday night racing, showing how much experience matters in competing there. Scott Hantz finished in sixth, the highest finishing non-Michigan native in the event.
