Robbie
Knievel to Perform at Music City Motorplex
NASHVILLE, TN
(October 29, 2008) -- Robbie Knievel, son of legendary "Evil Knievel
will be performing a one of a kind, death defying, "Glow in the
Dark" motorcycle jump Halloween Night at the Music City Motorplex
located at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, Nashville.
The special jump is all part of kicking off a new "Glow In The Dark"
product by Glo-Tek that will help with safety programs for bikes,
cycles, along with many other uses. A special BMX glow in the dark
exhibition, a Halloween haunted house for the children, and a pre
jump concert featuring Lynn Sorenson from the legendary rock band
Bad Company will be performing, featuring Jack Pearson of the Allman
Brothers band on guitar.
The event is sponsored by Glo-Tek, Bumpus Harley Davidson, Hickory
Hollow KIA, Double Tree Hotel, and the Music City Motorplex.
The Robbie Knievel "Glow in the Dark" event and motorcycle jump will
take place immediately following the conclusion of the Adam Petty
All American 400 stock car qualifying and last chance races leading
up to the All American 400 event held November 1, 2008 for ASA
Southeast Asphalt Tour and the CRA Super Series.
Grandstand gates open at 2:00 p.m. for the All American 400
qualifying and last chance races
Tickets are $10 for adults in advance, $15 at gate, 12 and under
free. Special gates will open at 6:00 pm for the Robbie Knievel Glow
in the Dark motorcycle jump. Ticket are $25 for adults, $10 for 12
and under, CHILDREN 10 and under in HALLOWEEN COSTUMES will be
admitted FREE. A special $10 admission price will be offered to all
race fans that wish to stay for the motorcycle jump. HAUNTED HOUSE
for the children is free with special prizes and candy.
