Special from Boyne Machine Racing:
Boyne Machine Racing Auction scheduled for November
8 taking shape
Jenison Michigan
(October 27, 2008) --
After years of exciting and successful short-track racing around the
nation, Boyne Machine Racing owner Mike Blackmer is auctioning off all
racecars and everything that was is involved with the 10 car plus
operation. Blackmer will become the proud owner of Berlin Raceway,
following the upcoming Banquet on November 7th, and will
shift his focus and resources from car owner, to racetrack promoter.
The auction, which
was originally scheduled for October 25th, has been moved
back due to the unfortunate passing of Kathy Huizenga of Performance
Engineering. The new date for the auction has been set for Saturday
November 8th, beginning at 10am.
The Boyne Machine
Racing staff has been hard at work gathering and organizing a very
large collection of racing components, spares, new un-used items and
more. Many of the items have been outlined on the auction website (
www.boyneatberlin.com ) and can be viewed anytime to get a small
preview of what will all be for sale. Outlaw Late Models, traveling
ASA and CRA items, Berlin and Kalamazoo cars, and general racing
products will all be available. A host of trailers and haulers will
also be auctioned off. While the ASA/CRA race-team was sold to Mike
Bursley, owner of Perfect Circle Racecars, there is still a tremendous
inventory of items to be sold.
Also to be included
in the auction will be many top-of-the-line motors from the following
companies: Baker, Performance, Proformance, Phil Harper, and AP
Performance.
The auction will take
place at: 6673 Pineridge Court – Jenison Michigan 49428 and will begin
at 10:00am. Snacks and drinks will be on-sale in lounge area. This
auction will be selling nothing but the finest in racing and is a
can’t-miss for anyone involved in motorsports. More information,
including item photos will be posted on the web: www.boyneatberlin.com,
or call 616-669-7178 for more.
