BSRN set to Broadcast the "Southern Slam 250"
Winder GA: The Big Stick
Racing Network, the south’s fastest growing racing broadcast company
has announced it has reached an agreement with the CRA and the South
Georgia Motor Sports Park and will broadcast the CRA Southern Slam 250
weekend live on Saturday Nov 22, and Sunday Nov, 23. The race coverage
will include all of the preliminary action from Saturday night as well
as the full 250 lap feature on Sunday. Broadcast time for Saturday is
6:30 until the evening of racing wraps up and broadcast time for the
race on Sunday is 1:00pm with the Pro Shocks Green Flag Preview
followed by all of the exciting racing from Green flag to checkered
flag. The BSRN was established to bring MRN type coverage for short
track asphalt and dirt track racing.
The Big Stick racing Network can be
heard on several station around the south and on the internet at
bigstickracingnetwork.com. The broadcast team will include
founders of the Big Stick Racing Network, Scott Pinner and JR Miller,
technical consultant Cameron Whitehead, and pit reporters Travis King
and Sherri Thomas. Support staff include graphic artist Charles
Peppers, and equipment manager J. K. Miller, and senior producer
Hendry Miller.
The CRA Super Slam 250 is the latest
of the asphalt track races carried by the Big Stick Racing Network
after it moved to the larger asphalt events after a season of dirt
track coverage. Starting with the RC and a Moon Pie ASA Watermelon 200
in Cordele, the BSRN then covered the CRA Adam Petty Memorial along
with ASA racing in Nashville, and the GAS World Crown at the
Peachstate Motor Speedway. Gib Chew, communications director for the
CRA said "The association is excited to have BSRN involved in its
events".
