SHP To Sponsor Hard Luck Award for the CRA Street Stock Series in 2008

Salem, IN (March 14, 2008) – Champion Racing Association Officials have announced that SHP, Shively High Performance, will sponsor the SHP Hard Luck Award at each CRA Street Stock Series event during the upcoming 2008 season. The team with the hardest luck at each event will receive a $100 Product Certificate towards parts purchased from SHP. Series officials will vote on which team receives the award at each series event. SHP is also sponsoring the same type award for the Howe CRA Sportsman Series this season.

SHP is owned and operated by CRA Super Series team owner Jeff Shively and his son and driver Jason Shively. Shively Racing has been competing with the CRA Super Series since the 2004 season, they finished seventh in the 2007 series points and Jason received the TDR Screen Graphics Sportsman Of The Year Award. Prior to that Shively Racing was a regular competitor at Baer Field Speedway.

SHP is located 2.6 miles North of the 4 way stop sign in Leo on Highway 1 North in Spencerville, Indiana. SHP is an authorized dealer for Bully Dog, Butlerbuilt and Port City Racing. SHP is a parts dealer for performance cars and trucks, carrying parts for both asphalt and dirt racecars. SHP also has a supply of used parts for sale. SHP is open 12noon to 7pm Monday through Friday, and will be open on Saturdays until the 2008 race season begins. Arrangements can be made to get parts during off hours by calling in advance.
