ARP Bodies To
Continue Support Of Champion Racing Association For 2008
New Cool Move Award
Announced For The CRA Super Series
Salem, IN (March 17, 2008) –
Champion Racing Association officials have announced that ARP Bodies
will continue their support of the CRA Super Series, Howe CRA
Sportsman Series and CRA Street Stock Series for the quickly upcoming
2008 race season. ARP Stock Car Bodies has been a supporter of the CRA
Super Series for many seasons and became a supporter of the Howe CRA
Sportsman Series and CRA Street Stock Series during the 2006 season.

ARP Bodies has restructured their
Contingency Award Programs for all three series for the 2008 season in
an effort to benefit more racers in each series. For the CRA Super
Series in 2008, the ARP Bodies season ending awards will be a $500
Product Certificate to the 2008 series Champion, if the Champion used
an ARP Body, they will receive a $1000 Product Certificate. ARP Bodies
will award the driver with the best qualifying average in the seasons
points events with a $500 Product Certificate and a $500 Product
Certificate that will be given away by random draw of the top 15
finishers in final 2008 CRA Super Series points.
ARP Bodies has also announced a new
award for the CRA Super Series for the 2008 season. Beginning at the
All American 150 at the Music City Motorplex on March 29th,
ARP Bodies will sponsor the ARP Bodies Cool Move Of The Race Award
that will go to the driver, team or crewmember that makes the most
notable move, as decided by series officials, at each series event
during the 2008 season. The award will consist of one ARP Bodies EZ-Max
Radiator Ductwork System that can be used on any ABC Body.
For the Howe CRA Sportsman Series in
2008, the ARP Bodies season ending awards will be a $500 Product
Certificate to the 2008 series Champion, if the Champion used an ARP
Body, they will receive a $1000 Product Certificate. ARP Bodies will
award the driver with the best qualifying average in the seasons
points events with a $500 Product Certificate and a $500 Product
Certificate that will be given away by random draw of the top 10
finishers in final 2008 Howe CRA Sportsman Series points.
ARP Bodies will award six $100
Product Certificates as season ending awards to selected competitors
with the CRA Street Stocks for the 2008 season. A $100 Product
Certificate will be awarded to the 2008 series Champion, the series
Rookie Of The Year, the driver with the most event Fast Qualifier
times, the Sportsman Of The Year, the driver leading the most laps
during the season, and one by random draw of the top 10 finishers in
final series points.
ARP Bodies is one of the leading

proponent of the new ABC Body Guidelines introduced to template late
model racing in 2004. 2007 CRA Super Series Champion Chris Gabehart
used an ARP Body to win his Championship and lead every statistical
category with the series including most series wins, most fast
qualifying times and most laps lead. Top ten point finishers Rick
