The Scott Performance Wire Four
State Challenge To Begin With Hoosier Hills 100

(June 4, 2008) – CRA Super
Series officials have announced that Scott Performance Wire will
return as the sponsor of the Scott Performance Wire Four State
Challenge, an award program based upon four selected CRA Super Series
points events in the four states the series will have points events in
2008. The Scott Performance Wire Four State Challenge is set to begin
with the Hoosier Hills 100 presented by Lane Automotive and ISKY
Racing Cams CRA Super Series event this Saturday at
Salem
Speedway in Salem, Indiana.
The other three events in the Scott Performance Wire Four State
Challenge in 2008 will be the July 20th All American 150
event at the Music City Motorplex at the Fairgrounds in Nashville,
Tennessee that was originally scheduled for March 29th but
was postponed because of weather, the August 1st event at
Toledo Speedway located in Toledo, Ohio, and will conclude with the
September 13th $10,000 to win Boyne at Berlin Weekend
event
at Berlin Raceway located in Marne, Michigan.
The
Scott Performance Wire Four State Challenge will pay the driver who
gets the most series points in the four events a $700 bonus and a set
of Scott Performance Wires. The second place driver in the Scott
Performance Wire Four State Challenge will receive a $500 bonus. The
third place driver in the Scott Performance Wire Four State Challenge
will receive a $300 bonus. Scott Performance Wire will also award the
2008 CRA Super Series Champion with a set of Scott Performance Wires
and an additional set of Scott Performance Wires that will be given
away by random draw of the top fifteen teams in final series points at
the 2008 series awards banquet.
2007
CRA Super Series Rookie Of The Year John VanDoorn was the winner of
last seasons Scott Performance Wire Four State Challenge overtaking
2007 CRA Super Series Points Champion Chris Gabehart and his 13 point
lead at the Challenge's last event at Berlin Raceway. Gabehart would
finish in second, four points behind VanDoorn, while 2006 Scott
Performance Wire Four State Challenge winner Scott Hantz finished in
third place, 29 points behind the leaders.
