Nationally Recognized Babbitt's
Sports Center,
Teams Up with Record Breaking
Boyne at Berlin Raceway Event
Jenison, MI (June 10, 2008) -
The
management staff for the Boyne at Berlin have been hard at work as of
late in continuing preparation for the third annual Boyne at Berlin
presented by Wolverine Power Systems.
Mike
Blackmer, co-owner of Boyne Machine Company, and Boyne at Berlin race
promoter is proud to announce that Babbitt's Sports Center has joined
the already record-breaking third annual event. Blackmer, who recently
made public that Port City Racing of Muskegon has been signed on,
another Muskegon main-stay has joined in on the excitement.
Babbitt's Sports Center was opened
in early 1965 by the Babbitt's family. Avid members of the local
business
and
motorcycle community, they decided that the region was severely
lacking a large multi-line, full-service Motorcycle dealership. More
importantly, one that focused on Customer Service, Trust, Quality and
Competitive Pricing.
41 years later, Babbitt's Sports
Center is still owned and operated by the Babbitt's family and
continues its success as one of the fastest
growing Internet companies
that offers OEM online parts and accessories nationwide. Contact
Babbitt's today at: 231-737-4542 or

"To
add a name like Babbitt's Sports Center to our event, will truly help
make it a keystone event!" commented Mike Blackmer Tuesday. "Babbitt's
are no strangers to success, with an arenacross championship under
their belts. We hope to deliver a similar experience to everyone
involved with the Boyne at Berlin, from the fans, to the teams, and
everyone in-between!"
Babbitt's will help Blackmer knockout the previous record high payout
offered by Berlin, with this year's weekend total payout exceeding
$130,000.00! The two-days of action both on and off the track will be
under the direction of Blackmer and staff, who have rented the 7/16th
mile speedway.
Already on the schedule of events for Friday, includes practice for
all the competing divisions, the traveling CRA Super Series
qualifications, a USA Modified feature event, dual Outlaw Late Model
features, and races with the best that Berlin has to offer with their
weekly divisions! Capping off Friday nights fun will be a guaranteed
wild and crazy Boyne Bus Bash under the lights!
Saturday nights lineup is just as impressive, with country music
legend Lee Greenwood performing just prior to racing action.
Greenwood, best known for his hit 'God Bless the USA' will begin his
solo-performance at 5:00pm on the front stretch. Racing will begin at
6:00pm with each of the weekly Berlin division feature events, a
roaring 40-lap USA Modified feature, Outlaw Late Model race for
$5,000.00 to win, and the beautiful template bodied CRA Super Series
cars racing for a handsome $10,000.00. If that isn't enough to make
you smile, a firework spectacular will light up the Marne Michigan
skies to finish off an expected spectacular weekend!

addition of Babbitt's Sports Center to the Boyne at Berlin weekend is
