Pier-Mac Plastics To Sponsor King Of The
Wings, Winged Sprint Car Challenge At Winchester Speedway Again In
2008

– Winchester Speedway officials are pleased to announce that Pier-Mac
Plastics will return as the sponsor of this seasons King Of The Wings
Winged Sprint Car Challenge at the historic High Banks of Winchester
Speedway on Sunday, August 10th. This season will be the
Fourth Annual Pier Mac Plastics King
Of
The Wing Winged Sprint Car Challenge at Winchester Speedway, the event
started during the Grand Re-opening 2005 season. That Sunday event
will also feature racing action from the Howe CRA Sportsman, Vore’s
Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts and the INEX Thunder Roadsters.

Champion Racing Association, the promoters of Winchester Speedway for

The Fourth Annual Pier Mac Plastics King
Of The Wing Winged Sprint Car Challenge will
once
again feature the country’s top Winged Sprint Car drivers from the
Auto Value Super Sprints and HOSS Wing Sprints plus many others. On a
day with weather truly fit for a king, Shane Butler put on a show to
win last seasons third addition of the Pier-Mac Plastics King Of The
Wings, Winged Sprint Car Challenge ending Cameron Dodson’s two year
reign. Butler chased down a very loose Michael Ling and made the pass
after both cars nearly wrecked on lap 28 to get the win. Ling
maintained control of his car to get second, veteran Hank Lower
finished in third, Tim Cox in fourth and Brian Lay in fifth. Veteran
Jeff Bloom set fast time for the event.

molding shop established in 1975, headquartered in Portland, Indiana.
Pier-Mac Plastics has twelve injection presses, ranging from 75-750
Ton. Pier-Mac is able to utilize a variety of plastic materials, such
as Polycarbonate, Styrene, Polypropylene, ABS, Nylon, and many others
that will meet your specific molding needs.

W&M Manufacturing is a custom Vacuum
Metalizing and Top coating facility established in 1961. W&M consist
of (3) vacuum metalizing chambers, robotic painting systems and water
fall type paint booths for custom painting. W&M uses a variety of
