Early Entries Arriving For CRA Super Series All American 150 In Nashville

Salem, IN (February 1, 2008) – Early entries for the CRA Super Series All American 150 at the famed Music City Motorplex at the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee on March 29th have started to come in over the past week. To date there are already 13 different states represented in the 22 entries already received. States already represented with an entry include Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin

Many of the top CRA Super Series regulars have already entered including 2007 Adam Petty Memorial All American 400 winner John Van Doorn, along with two-time series Champion Scott Hantz, also series regulars Rick Turner, Terry Fisher Jr., Jack Smith, Jason Shively, Sean Matthuis, A.J. Ganino, and Jason Dietsch. There are also a strong group of series rookies entered already including Aaron Pierce, Robert Maynor, Zach Taylor, Josh Bauer and Adam Purdy.

Many of the top late model drivers from around the country have already entered including Florida’s Scott Carlson, North Carolina’s Jeff Fultz and Dennis Schoenfeld, Minnesota’s Josh Vadnais, runner-up in last years season opening event at the Music City Motorplex, Kentucky’s Keith Gardner, Oklahoma’s Donnie Wilson, Tennessee’s Tony Ponkaukas and Texas hot shoe Casey Smith.

The All American 150 for the CRA Super Series late models will be part of the big 2008 Spring Clash Weekend on March 28th and 29th at the Music City Motorplex, which will also include a 75-lap event for the O’Reilly USA Modified Series and a special-points 75-lap Shoot-out event between the CRA Street Stocks and the MCM Sportsman.

This will be the third season in a row that the CRA Super Series has opened its point’s season at the famed oval with a 150-lap event. The Saturday night, March 29th event will be a tune-up to the prestigious Adam Petty Memorial All American 400 on Sunday, November 2nd. The All American 150 will pay $5000 to win, but more importantly, the top three finishers will have a guaranteed start for the CRA sanctioned Adam Petty Memorial All American 400.


The 2008 Spring Clash Weekend will kick off with an open practice for all three divisions on Friday, March 28th. Pits will open at 12noon Central Time; practice will start at 3:30pm and will go until 7:30pm. Pits will open on Saturday, March 29th at 9am, practice will begin at 12noon, with qualifying starting at 4pm. The race program will begin at 7pm on Saturday with last chance races first, then the three feature events starting with the 75-lap event for the O’Reilly USA Modified Series, followed by the All-American 150 for the CRA Super Series, and ending with the 75-lap CRA Street Stock/MCM Sportsman Shoot-out.
