Crew Chief For Great Deals Racing
Salem, IN (February 7, 2008) –
2007 CRA Super Series Champion winning driver Chris Gabehart has
signed on with the Great Deals Racing team to Crew Chief their #32 CRA
Super Series late model with driver Zach Taylor for the upcoming 2008
season. The Great Deals Racing Team with Taylor will be competing for
Rookie Of The Year honors and for the 2008 Season Championship.
"After winning the 2007 CRA Super
Series championship as a driver, I

Crew Chief for the Great Deals Racing #32 car driven by Zach Taylor
and owned by Jim Mougette," remarked Gabehart. " I am excited about
the challenge that awaits me in developing my public persona as a
chassis technician through my Crew Chiefing job, my continued work
with Advanced Racing Suspension developing cutting edge Super Late
Model shock technology, and continuing to provide setup consulting for
anyone who might be looking to enhance their program or try something
new. I plan to do all of this while sharpening my skills as a driver
in several major Super Late Model races across the country. This will
allow me to keep proving myself as a top contending driver while
further developing my chassis technology to better service my other
endeavors."

Motorsports team owner Jim Winters, had a near
perfect season in 2007
while capturing the 2007 CRA Super Series Championship. The team led
every statistical category with the series including the most wins,
most fast qualifier awards, and most laps led. Gabehart was his own
Crew Chief during the 2007 season, proving he was not only a talent
behind the wheel but also preparing and setting up his own racecars.
The Great Deals Racing #32 Chevrolet
ran selected CRA Super Series events in 2007 with Bret Miles Jr.
behind the wheel, getting a season best second place finish at
Anderson Speedway in June. Miles Jr. left the team at the end of the
2007 season. Zach Taylor has signed on to compete the entire 2008
season and will be a teammate to veteran series competitor Rick Turner
in the #26 Great Deals Racing Ford. Turner finished fourth in series
points in 2007 with a season high finish of third, right behind the
#32 team car at the June Anderson event.
