Salem, IN (February 1, 2008) – Hartsville, Tennessee native Zach Taylor has signed on with the Great Deals Racing team to drive their #32 CRA Super Series late model for the 2008 season. Taylor will be competing for Rookie Of The Year honors and for the 2008 Season Championship.

Great Deals Racing owner Jim Mougeotte, President of Great Deals Coupon Magazine and Mougeotte Publishing, received over 50 resumes for his Driver Development Team, Taylor was selected mainly because of his success in several limited starts with the CRA Super Series during the 2006 season.

"I was truly amazed at the number of applicants I had for our Driver Development Team," remarked Mougeotte. "There were some very good racers, it was a tough decision, but in the end Zach’s name rose to the top as the best candidate. We look forward to the 2008 season with Zach starting out in Nashville, which is just down the road from his home town."

Taylor competed in a limited schedule with the CRA Super Series during the 2006 season with Circle Bound Racing. Taylor started off the 2006 season by winning the Non-qualifiers event at the Spring Clash in Nashville. He then grabbed everyone’s attention by coming to Winchester Speedway for the first time ever and getting a very respectable fourth place finish. He backed that up with a sixth place finish at the series Baer Field Speedway event. Taylor’s team then went through a string of bad luck that kept him from finishing any races the rest of the season.

The Great Deals Racing #32 Chevrolet ran selected CRA Super Series events in 2007 with Bret Miles Jr. behind the wheel, getting a season best second place finish at Anderson Speedway in June. Miles Jr. left the team at the end of the 2007 season. Taylor’s teammate will be veteran series competitor Rick Turner in the #26 Great Deals Racing Ford. Turner finished fourth in series points in 2007 with a season high finish of third, right behind the #32 team car at the June Anderson event.
