To Compete Full-Time With The CRA Super Series in 2008
Salem, IN (February 15, 2008)
– After competing in a hand full of races in 2007, AJP Motorsports
with owner and driver Adam Purdy has made the commitment to compete
full-time with the CRA Super Series for the upcoming 2008 season. The
Taylor, Michigan native will compete for Rookie Of The Year honors and
for the series Season Championship.
Purdy competed in five CRA Super
Series events in 2007 in a converted Toledo Speedway Sportsman car to
get a feel for the series and see if he wanted to make the move for
the 2008 season. Purdy’s best finish was 16th twice, once
at the Berlin Raceway event and at the Labor Day Weekend Winchester
Speedway event.
Purdy has purchased a McGunegill
Engine Performance Sealed Engine and a Port City Chassis. Purdy will
use a Chevrolet ARP Body and will utilize Advanced Racing Suspension
shocks. Purdy has sponsorship help from Southpointe Radiator and
Mayfair Speed & Machine. Purdy is looking for crewmembers to help at
the CRA Super Series events during the 2008 season. Interested people
can contact AJP Motorsports by e-mail at

Purdy has been racing for six years
and has competed at Toledo Speedway, Flat Rock Speedway, Auto City
Speedway, Dixie Speedway, Galesburg Speedway and at Angola Motor
Speedway. Purdy is already entered for the CRA Super Series All
American 150 at the Music City Motorplex at the Fairgrounds in
Nashville, Tennessee on March 29th, which is the
