Haseleu Lead The Harris Products Group Season Lap Leader Awards
Salem, IN (September 13, 2007)
– Current CRA Super Series point’s leader Chris Gabehart and Nathan
Haseleu are the current leaders in the Harris Products Group Season
Lap Leader Awards
with
just four events left in the 2007 racing season. Gabehart is
dominating in leading laps in the regular 100 and 125 lap events this
season by leading a total of 293 laps going into Saturday’s Boyne
Machine 125 Presented By Centennial Wireless and Spray Power at Berlin
Raceway. Gabehart has a 128 lap lead over Jeff Lane in second with
only two of the regular lap events left on the 2007 schedule. Tommy
St. John is in third with 96 laps lead, Jack Landis is fourth with 95
laps lead, and Robbie Pyle is fifth with 93 laps lead.
Nathan Haseleu leads the Harris
Products Group Season Lap Leader Award for the extra distance races
over 125 laps this season. Haseleu has lead 149 laps in that category,
all of which came in getting a victory in the series season opener at
the Music City Motorplex. Top rookie competitor John VanDoorn is
currently in second with 126 laps lead, he lead all those laps in
getting the victory in the Anderson 250 at Anderson Speedway on August
4th. Brad Mueller is third with 124 laps lead, those also
came in the Anderson 250. There are two events left in 2007 in this
category including the 36th Annual Winchester 400 Presented
By Ed Martin Auto Group and Renegade on October 14 and the All
American 400 event at the Music City Motorplex at the Fairgrounds in
Nashville.
The Harris Products Group, a division
of Lincoln Electric, will award the CRA Super Series driver that leads
the most laps in the regular 100/125-lap series point’s events on the
2007 schedule with a set of the Harris Products Group Cutting Torches.
In addition, The Harris Products Group will award the driver who leads
the most laps in the special event extra distance races on the 2007
CRA Super Series schedule with a set of Harris Products Group Cutting
Torches. Both awards will be presented at the 2007 CRA Super Series
Awards Banquet.
