Advanced Early Entry Deadline For "The 100" AT ORP Ends September 14

Salem, IN (September 6, 2007) – The advanced early entry deadline for "The 100", a CRA Super Series sanctioned event with the Inaugural Circle Track Nationals at O’Reilly Raceway Park on September 21 and 22, will end on September 14th, any entries after that date will have to pay an additional $25 to enter. "The 100", a 100 lap, four tire event that will pay $10,000 to win and $1000 to start at one of the most famous short tracks in the country, is one of the highest paying non-pit stop asphalt late model events ever held.

The event has already drawn 46 advanced entries from all over the country. The group of non CRA regulars entered to date include Dennis Schoenfeld from North Carolina, Stanley Smith, Johnny Brazier, Hunter Robbins, Grant Enfinger from Alabama, Eddie Mercer, Justin Drawdy, Scot Walters, Brad Bischoff from Florida, Casey Smith and Matt Merrell from Texas, Donnie Wilson from Oklahoma, Josh Vadnais and Benny Van Cleve from Minnesota, Heath Hindman from Tennessee, Andy Hanson and Doug Mahlik from Wisconsin, Josh Krug from Nebraska and Keith Gardner from Kentucky.

Several drivers who have driven part-time with the CRA Super Series this season have entered including 2006 All American 400 winner Boris Jurkovic, Andy Ponstein, Tommy St. John, Scott Whitehouse, Robbie Pyle and Jeff Cannon. The CRA Super Series regulars who have entered include 2006 series Champion Scott Hantz, second in 2007 points and the leader in rookie points John Van Doorn, also Jeff Lane, JR Roahrig, Jason Shively, Rick Turner, Kenny Tweedy, Jack Smith, Terry Fisher Jr., Sean Matthuis, A.J. Ganino, Jason Dietsch, Donald Karr Jr. and Robert Maynor. The current CRA Super Series point’s leader Hendricks County Motorsports has entered, but has not announced a driver yet.

The winner of "The 100" will have beaten some of the best short track racers in the country, so add your name to the list of entries soon!

"The 100" is also the first leg of the $50,000 to win Triple Crown for Super Late Model racing. The three race point’s series will be starting with "The 100" at O'Reilly Raceway Park in on September 21 and 22, the 36th annual Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway on October 13 and 14, and the Adam Petty Memorial All-American 400 at the Music City Motorplex November 3 and 4. The $50,000 triple crown bonus goes to any driver who can win all 3 races, a bonus of $10,000 will go to any driver who can accomplish winning 2 of the 3 races and if no driver can win more than one of the races, a bonus of $5,000 will go to the driver who accumulates the highest point total among those three races. The CRA Super Series will sanction all three events.
