Busch and Stremme Have Successful Test At Winchester
Speedway
Winchester, IN (October 2, 2007) - NASCAR Nextel Cup drivers
Kyle Busch and David Stremme had a successful test session in their
CRA Super Series late models in preparation for the upcoming 36th

Annual
Winchester 400 Presented By Ed Martin Auto Group and Renegade

on Sunday, October 14th. Some morning rain showers kept them from
getting laps until after lunch, but both drivers were able to
dial-in their cars in hopes of coming away with a victory in the
famed 400 lap marathon on the famous High Banks of Winchester
Speedway.
The test was very important for both drivers since they will not
arrive at the track for the 400 until that morning after competing
in the NASCAR Nextel Cup event that Saturday night at Lowe's Motor
Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. They will get a few practice
laps that morning, but will have to start the event on the tail as
the two promoters options since they will miss qualifying on
Saturday.
Famed crew chief Ritchie Wauters heads up the Kyle Busch Motorsports
team and turns the wrench's on the #51 Chevrolet. Busch hopes to
improve upon his past results in Winchester 400 events, he was
involved in accidents in both events that kept him from getting good
finishes. Busch also competed with the CRA Super Series in a 200 lap
tune up event for the Winchester 400 in 2002. A broken wheel lost
him four laps in the pits, he made up 3 of those laps to get a top
ten finish one lap down.
Stremme has always been fast on High Banked half mile tracks, in
fact he set the track record in his first ever visit to Winchester
Speedway in 1999 in his first ever CRA Super Series event. Stremme
has a CRA Super Series and ASA Racing Series victory at Salem
Speedway.
