Salem, IN (November 19, 2007) – Champion Racing Association has announced that the 2007 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet will be held at the recently remodeled Days Inn in Anderson, Indiana at 5901 Satterfield Rd, just off exit 26 of I-69. The 2007 Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday evening, January 12, 2008. The 2007 Champion Racing Association Champions will be honored in the CRA Super Series, Howe CRA Sportsman, CRA Street Stocks and Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts, along with all the top fifteen teams in 2007 CRA Super Series Owners Points and the top ten finishers in Owner Points in the other three CRA Divisions.

The CRA Super Series 2007 Team Full Throttle Driver Development Services Rookie Of The Year Award winner with the CRA Super Series will be honored and will lead a group of selected CRA Super Series drivers and teams that will be awarded individual special awards at the Awards Banquet including the TDR Screen Graphics Sportsman Of The Year Award, the Darrell Teal Dedication Award and the Cometic Gasket Hard Luck Award. There will also be the Rookie Of The Year and Harris Products Group Sportsman of the Year Awards for both the Howe CRA Sportsman and the CRA Street Stocks.

There will be a reception to start the evening’s events at 6PM, followed by a buffet dinner at 7PM, with the awards ceremony immediately following at approximately 8:30PM. There will be several special announcements made concerning the 2008-racing season, and there will be several product items that will be given away by random draw of any team present for each division.

Some of the products that will be given away by random draw include a complete body from Five Star Racecar Bodies and a complete body from ARP Stock Car Bodies for both the Super Series and Sportsman, two 50% off a body Product Certificates from ARP Stock Car Bodies and one from Five Star Racecar Bodies for the Super Series, two sets of ARP Stock Car Bodies plastic nose and tail pieces and a $250 Product Certificate from Five Star Racecar Bodies for the Street Stocks. A Drivers Suit and Racing Shoes from Impact Racing for both the Sportsman and Street Stocks, a Bell Racing Helmet for both the Super Series and the Sportsman. Also a racing seat from Butlerbuilt, a welder from Lincoln Welders, one set of four Wheels and two sets of two wheels from Circle Racing Wheels, $300 in Product Certificates from Leaf Racewear, a set of Scott Performance Wires and a $200 Product Certificate from Cometic Gasket for the Super Series teams. Their will additional prize giveaways for all four divisions including some 2008 pit pass from Anderson Speedway and Winchester Speedway.
