As stated in
each CRA Super Series events
entry form, Torco Racing Fuel
is the Spec Fuel of the CRA
Super Series and must be
the only fuel used at all
times, each team must
purchase a minimum of 10
gallons at the track at each
event from the Torco Race Fuel
distributor servicing that
event. Click Here.
The series has given the
competitors three events to date to get use to the Spec Fuel policy.
Starting
with Sunday's event at Toledo Speedway, testing will be done on each
competitors fuel to make sure teams are adhering to the Spec Fuel
policy. Teams using non Spec Fuel will be subject to penalties that
could include fines and loss of points. Teams that do not purchase
the required 10 gallons will receive a $52.50 penalty, which will be
deducted from that events payoff.
When purchasing your
fuel, make sure the distributor knows which team is making the
purchase. Teams must bring a receipt of fuel purchase from each
event to pre- tech to show the series tech personnel that a fuel
purchase for that event has been made.
The series will continue
to administer random fuel test for additives at selected events. The
fuel samples used to determine use of the series Spec Fuel will be
sent to the fuel distributor who will conduct that test.
We are asking for every
teams support with the Spec Fuel policy. Torco Race Fuel is a huge
supporter of the CRA Super Series, it is our responsibility to
support them.
Due to an industry wide
recent rise in cost, the price for Torco Race Fuel will now be $5.25
per gallon for CRA Super Series competitors starting at Saturday's
event at Berlin Raceway. That cost is still significantly cheaper
than the cost of fuel at most race tracks.
