Nick Baran Leads
The Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings

Super Series Rookie Of the Year contender Nick Baran has taken over
the lead of the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings after four CRA
Super Series events so far this season heading into Saturday’s 5th

M H&T and Howe Racing at Columbus Motor Speedway in Columbus, Ohio.
Baran has improved 30 total positions so far this season, an average
of 7.5 positions per event in 2007. The Illinois native is currently
13th in overall 2007 standings with a best finish of 14th
in the season opening Spring Clash 150 at the Music City Motorplex in
Nashville and at this past Sunday’s A.P. Racing Engines 100 at Toledo
Speedway.
A. J. Ganino, an Ohio native, is
currently in second place with 21 improved positions to date and is 10th
in overall series points. Another Rookie contender Sean Matthuis is
third with 15 improved positions and is currently eighth in overall
series points. Jack Smith, the early season leader in the Cometic
Gasket Hardcharger Standings, has now dropped into a tie for fourth
with 14 positions gained after some recent bad luck with ignition
problems. Rookie contender Jeff Bozell is tied with Smith with 14
positions gained so far this season.

in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at the 2007 CRA Super
Series Awards Banquet.
