Evan Jackson Takes
Checkered Flag For BoGo Racing At Salem Speedway
Salem, IN - Three-time CRA
Super Series race winner Evan Jackson got his first ever super late
model victory on the historical high banks of Salem Speedway this
past Saturday night. Driving the BoGo Racing number 75, he
led the Casey’s General Store 50 from flag-to-flag competing in the
always
rough
and tough PAPA John’s Late Model Division.
Finishing a distant second was
two-time track champion Keith Gardner with the reigning Salem
Speedway late model champion Chuck Barnes Jr. bringing home third
driving the Darryl Hadley Racing #12.
“We had
a fair showing here last year finishing fourth but we wanted to take
it up a notch or two for this particular race,” expressed Evan
Jackson following the win. “There’s absolutely no doubt that Jim
Cooper knows how to get a super late model around Salem Speedway but
tonight he had the BoGo Racing number 75 running in a class of its
own!”
This was the first win for BoGo Racing and
during a victory lane radio interview team owner James “Bo” Gordley
gave full praise to both Evan Jackson and Jim Cooper for their
dedication, hard work, and tremendous ambition. Evan had a great
run the week before at Winchester Speedway starting from a dismal 18th
position to wheel his way through a tough field of super late models
to a 5th place finish in the Manning 100. Following this
impressive finish with a trip to victory lane, it certainly now
appears as though BoGo Racing and Evan Jackson Motorsports
have established a partnership that will make them serious
contenders at both Salem Speedway as well as select CRA Super Series
events during the 2007 season.
