Entries Continue To Come In For "The 100" At O’Reilly Raceway Park

Salem, IN (June 18, 2007) – 25 entries have already been received to date for "The 100", a CRA Super Series sanctioned event with the Inaugural Circle Track Nationals at O’Reilly Raceway Park on September 21 and 22. The 100 lap, non-pit stop, four tire event will pay $10,000 to win and $1000 to start. The first 40 entries are guaranteed a pit road stall for the event, entries after the first 40 will pit on the asphalt pit area on the front stretch behind pit road.

This event is expected to draw the top late model drivers from all over the country, and that is already evident with the drivers who have already entered. The group of non CRA regulars entered to date include Dennis Schoenfeld from North Carolina, Stanley Smith and Johnny Brazier from Alabama, Eddie Mercer from Florida, Casey Smith and Matt Merrell from Texas, Donnie Wilson from Oklahoma and Keith Gardner from Kentucky.

Several drivers who have driven part-time with the CRA Super Series this season have entered including 2006 All American 400 winner Boris Jurkovic, Andy Ponstein, Benny Van Cleve, Tommy St. John, Scott Whitehouse, Eddie Van Meter, and Jason Dietsch. The CRA Super Series regulars who have entered include 2006 series Champion Scott Hantz, Jeff Lane, JR Roahrig, Jason Shively, Rick Turner, Jack Smith, Terry Fisher Jr., and Ray Mooi. Two teams have entered, but have not announced drivers yet, those teams include current CRA Super Series points leader Hendricks Motorsports and JVM Motorsports.

"The 100" is also the first leg of the $50,000 to win Triple Crown for Super Late Model racing. The three race point’s series will be held at "The 100" at O'Reilly Raceway Park in September, the 36th annual Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway in October and The 25th annual All-American 400 at the Music City Motorplex in November. The $50,000 triple crown bonus goes to any driver who can win all 3 races, a bonus of $10,000 will go to any driver who can accomplish winning 2 of the 3 races and if no driver can win more than one of the races, a bonus of $5,000 will go to the driver who accumulates the highest point total among those three races. The CRA Super Series will sanction all three events.
