
"The 100" will be a 100 lap, 4 tire event
featuring the CRA Super Series Late Models paying $10,000 to the
winner and a $53,000 racers purse on Saturday night, September 22nd,
2007.
Adding to those already enticing facts is that
the race is being held at one of the most famous short tracks in the
United States; O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis. When all of
those elements come together, it means that this event is surely
going to draw a historic number of racecars and teams all vying for
that shot at what is being billed as "The gem of short track
racing".
"The 100" is also the first leg of the $50,000
to win Triple Crown for Super Late Model racing. The three race
point’s series will be held at "The 100" at O'Reilly Raceway Park in
September, the 36th annual Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway in
October and The 25th annual All-American 400 at the Music City
Motorplex in November. The $50,000 triple crown bonus goes to any
driver who can win all 3 races, a bonus of $10,000 will go to any
driver who can accomplish winning 2 of the 3 races and if no driver
can win more than one of the races, a bonus of $5,000 will go to the
driver who accumulates the highest point total among those three
races. The CRA Super Series will sanction all three events.
There are only 40 pit road stalls available for
the Super Late Models so spots are sure to fill up fast. (All Super
Late Models will have an infield stall) The advanced entry deadline
is July 1st so act now to get the best deal on the entry fee and to
ensure your teams spot on pit road.
