(July 5, 2007) - Jim Winters and Chris Gabehart of
Hendricks County Motorsports, Inc. are proud to announce the first
official marketing partner for The Inaugural Circle Track Nationals.
St. John Signs has come on board to be the Official Sign and Design
partner to this historic event. They will be providing all of the
billboards and signage, having already supplied all of the graphic
work for both of Jim Winters' Super Late Models wheeled by point’s
leader Chris Gabehart.
Steve St. John founded St. Johns Signs in
1988. Coming from a racing family, the
majority
of their work consisted of hand lettering racecars. As technology in
the sign business evolved, so did St. John Signs. They incorporated
vinyl equipment in 2000 and digital technology in 2006. Although
a major portion of their business currently comes from the commercial
end, they are still very much involved in lettering race cars and
staying connected to the racing community with nearly 30 cars at the
Indianapolis Speedrome having St. John's signature on them along with
multiple cars in the USA Modified touring series as well as the CRA
Super Series. Steve St. John likes to keep on top of the latest
looks & styles by attending CRA races with his cousin, Tommy St. John
and plans to be around the race tracks for another 20 years making his
involvement in The Inaugural Circle Track Nationals a perfect fit.
"St. John Signs is proud to be associated with the
Circle Track Nationals as the official signmaker for the event." St.
John comments. "Knowing Jim Winters for nearly 25 years, he puts
on first class shows and they are only getting better with the help of
Chris Gabehart and Jon Wolery. We believe the Circle Track Nationals
has the potential to be one of the premier short track events in the
country, ranking right up there with the Snowball Derby.
Even the early entry list for ORP is impressive and exciting.
It's
going to be a must see race this year!"
"Without a doubt, Steve and his team at St. John
Signs are at the pinnacle of design, speed and pride in their field.
Jim has worked with Steve for years now and he has never been let
down. His willingness to deliver a top notch product in even the most
outrageous time periods is what will always separate him from the rest
for me." says Gabehart. "In the last few years since I have taken over
the driving duties of Jim's cars, I have asked quite a bit out of him
and there has never been a job he couldn't do. The results speak for
themselves with our Bicycle Car being featured at PRI as well as
multiple magazine and weekly newspaper covers. And this year, our
Circle Track Nationals car is turning heads in the stands promoting
our event and even garnering quite a few compliments from our fellow
racers. To me, what more do you need to say about the guy and his
work?"
