Nineteen year old Bret Miles Jr. from Muncie, Ind., will be driving the Great Deals Racing No. 32 Port City Chevrolet. The car will be powered by the McGunegill Sealed Engine that has been developed by Rick Turner and Great Deals Racing over the past few years.

”I have been watching Bret for the last couple of years as he has gotten his racing wings and he keeps getting better and better. I saw him do things that I have not seen in a long time at Anderson Speedway,” added Mougeotte.

In 2006, Bret Miles Jr. placed second in the Lampco Federal Credit Union Street Stock point standings and earned Rookie of the Year honors at Anderson Speedway. He recorded a division-leading four feature wins along with seven fast times and 14 top-10 finishes.

Miles will be in a three year driver development program with Great Deals Racing. He will run a minimum of seven races in 2007 in the CRA Super Series and compete full-time in 2008 and run for Rookie of the Year honors.

The Miles family has experienced a tremendous amount of success in Central Indiana. Dennis was one of the most accomplished drivers in the Midwest during the 1960s and 70s, recording over 200 feature victories. One of his biggest wins took place in 1971, claiming the second Annual Winchester 400 checkered flag.

Bret Miles Sr. followed his footsteps, winning his first championship at 17 years of age, claiming the 1987 Sportsman crown at Anderson Speedway. He also captured the 2003 SuperTruck title and ranks near the top of the career victory charts with 11 wins. Bret has also produced two victories in the CRA Street Stock division.
