Salem, IN (December 27, 2007) – Champion Racing Association officials are pleased to announce that Vore’s Welding & Steel has agreed to continue their title sponsorship of the CRA F.W.D. Compacts for the 2008 season. The Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA F.W.D. Compacts 2008 season will consist of 8 to 10 events beginning on Sunday, April 20^th with the season opening event at Winchester Speedway, an event that will also feature racing action in the Rich Vogler Classic for the USAC National Sprint Car Series and the CRA Super Series late models.

In all the Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA F.W.D. Compacts will have seven events at Winchester Speedway in 2008. They will also be in action at Winchester on May 4^th with the ARCA Lincoln Welder Trucks and CRA Street Stocks, on July 20^th with the 2^nd Annual Randolph County Fan Appreciation Day, again on August 10^th with the 4^th King Of the Wings show, a double header on the Labor Day Weekend World Stock Car Festival on Sunday, August 31 and again on Monday, September 1, and the 2008 Season Championship event will be held on Friday, October 10^th as a part of the 37^th Annual Winchester 400 Weekend Presented By Ed Martin Auto Group and Renegade. Additional events will be announced in the near future.

Greg De St. Jean will be officially crowned the inaugural Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA F.W.D. Compacts Champion on Saturday, January 12^th at the Days Inn in Anderson, Indiana along with the rest of the top ten in 2007 points at the 2007 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet. Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA F.W.D. Compacts 2008 rules are being finalized and will be available soon on the CRA web site at www.craracing.net or by contacting the CRA office at 812-883-0455. Vore’s Welding & Steel was the sponsor of the Vore's Welding & Steel CRA F.W.D. Compact #58 Acura that was driven by Brian Redmond to a 6^th place points finish and one feature win in 2007.
