Accepting Resumes For Funded Driver To Compete With The
CRA Super Series in
2008

- Ponstein Racing is accepting resumes from funded drivers wanting to
compete in the very competitive CRA Super Series for the upcoming 2008
racing season, racing at some of the top short tracks in the country
and in some of the most prestigious late model events held each season
like the Winchester 400 and All American 400. The team has been highly
competitive with the CRA Super Series for several seasons including
winning Rookie Of The Year in 2002, two series victories,
one
at Anderson Speedway and one at Kalamazoo Speedway and was Fast
Qualifier at the Spring Clash 150 at the famed Music City Motorplex at
the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee on April 1, 2007.
Ponstein Racing has had a commitment
to building and maintaining top-notch racecars and equipment since its
inception. From their fully outfitted 7,000 square foot shop complete
with fabrication shop, machining area, shock dyno etc, Port City
racecars, and full team of personnel we are fully committed to
showcasing a drivers talent, and our team's ability to run up front
week in and week out.
The program will feature cars built
with a Port City Chassis, the oldest of which is a 2007 model with
only four races on it since brand new, using ARP bodies and a mix of
motors from McGunegill Engine Performance and Baker Engineered Racing
