Cometic Gasket To
Continue It’s Support Of The CRA Super Series
Salem, IN (December 26, 2007)
– CRA Super Series Officials announced today that Cometic Gasket would
continue it’s support of the CRA Super Series for the upcoming 2008
race season. Cometic Gasket will once again be the Official Gasket of
the CRA Super Series for the 2008 season and will be involved in
several programs supporting the series racers through out the season.
Cometic Gasket has been a valued supporter of the
CRA
Super Series for several seasons.
Cometic Gasket will be involved as a
Product Contingency sponsor at each series event during the 2008
season. Cometic Gasket will award a $50 Product Certificate to the 8th
place finisher at every CRA Super Series event. In addition, Cometic
Gasket will award the highest finishing registered Rookie of the Year
contender at each event with a $25 Product Certificate. At the 2008
Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet, Cometic Gasket will award
a $200 Product Certificate to the 8th place finisher in
final series points, a $200 Product Certificate to the 2008 CRA Super
Series Rookie Of The Year, and a $200 Product Certificate that will be
given away by random draw of the top 15 in final 2008 CRA Super Series
points.
Cometic Gasket will also support the
series with year-end cash award bonuses at the 2008 CRA Super Series
Awards Banquet. Cometic Gasket will award a $500 Season Hardcharger
Award bonus to the driver in the top 15 in series points who advances
the most positions during the 2008 season. Cometic Gasket will award
the runner-up in 2008 CRA Super Series Rookie Of The Year points with
a $300 cash bonus. Cometic Gasket will also award a $300 Cometic
Gasket Hard Luck Award bonus to the driver in the top 15 in final
series points with the most DNF’s during the 2008 season.
On January 12th at the
2007 Champion Racing Association Banquet, Ray Mooi will receive the
Cometic Gasket Season Hardcharger Award bonus for advancing the most
positions during the 2007 season. Sean Matthuis will receive the 2007
CRA Super Series Rookie Runner-Up Cometic Gasket Award for finishing
second in rookie of the year points to John Van Doorn. Jack Smith and
the Urbine Racing Team will receive the Cometic Gasket Hard Luck Award
for the most DNF’s during 2007 season.
