AP Racing To Sponsor Hardcharger Award At SpeedFest 2008

Salem, IN (December 26, 2007) – Officials of SpeedFest 2008 and Essex Parts Services have announced that AP Racing will be an Award Sponsor with the Super Late Model portion of SpeedFest 2008 at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida on January 25^th & 26^th, 2008. AP Racing has been the Official Brake System and Brake Fluid of the CRA Super Series for the past two seasons.

AP Racing, through it’s exclusive U.S. Stock Car Distributor Essex Parts Services, will sponsor the AP Racing Hardcharger Awards and will award a pair of AP Racing Brake Discs to the driver advancing the most positions in both the North and South Super Late 100 lap qualifying races on Friday, January 25^th. AP Racing will award an additional pair of AP Racing Brake Discs to the driver advancing the most positions in the SpeedFest 200 lap Super Late Model event on Saturday, January 26^th for that event’s AP Racing Hardcharger Award.

SpeedFest 2008 is a co-promoted event involving USA International Speedway, the CRA Super Series and FASCAR’s Sunbelt Series. The event will include Super Late Models and for the first time ever the Crate Late Model Challenge for ASA Late Model Series type cars which will have North/South 25 lap qualifying races on Friday, January 25^th and a 100 lap event on Saturday, January 26^th.

Advanced early entries for both events are due by January 11^th, after that teams will have to pay a late fee and the Super Late Model teams will not be eligible for bonuses and will not have their numbers secured in advance.
