Salem, IN (December 11, 2007) – Anderson Speedway, home of the famous Little 500 Sprint Car race, will be the sight of two CRA Super Series events, two CRA Street Stock events and one Howe CRA Sportsman Series event in 2008. The famous high-banked quarter mile racetrack located in Anderson, Indiana has hosted more CRA Super Series events than any other track since the series first event ever event on Saturday, April 26, 1997. Anderson Speedway has had a total of 43 CRA Super Series events to date. Former two time series champion Brian Ross is the all-time series victory leader at Anderson Speedway with nine victories.

2007 CRA Super Series Champion Chris Gabehart got the victory in the CRA Super Series event in April of 2007 at Anderson Speedway, Jeff Lane looked to have the victory in hand when a blown motor sidelined him giving the victory to Gabehart. 2007 series Rookie Of The Year John Van Doorn got the victory in the Budweiser 250 in August for the CRA Super Series. First holding off a charge by Jack Smith who hit the wall after accidentally running into Van Doorn under yellow, then former series champion Brian Rievley to get his first ever series victory for car owner Tim Steele.

Veteran Central Indiana competitor Steve Blair got the victory in this past seasons July Howe CRA Sportsman event at Anderson Speedway. Blair held off Rick Rinehart and Charlie Hanna to get the victory, his second ever win with the series.

Former Anderson Speedway Rookie Of The Year Bret Miles Jr. got the victory in the 75-lap CRA Street Stock event also in July at Anderson Speedway. Miles held off 2007 Anderson Street Stock Champion Jacob Owens to get the popular victory. Calvin Parham got the victory in the Bud Light 150 for the CRA Street Stocks in August at Anderson holding off veterans Brian Hopkins and Joe Beaver.

The CRA Super Series will have a 125-lap event at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, April 12^th and a 300-lap event on Saturday, August 9^th as part of the traditional Anderson 400. The Howe CRA Sportsman will have a 75-lap event on Saturday, April 19^th, which will be the season opener for that series. The CRA Street Stocks will have a 200-lap event on Saturday, June 14^th and a 100-lap event as part of the Anderson 400 on Saturday, August 9^th.
