Salem, IN (August 30, 2007) – Ray Mooi continues to lead the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings after nine CRA Super Series events so far this season heading into Monday’s McGunegill Engine Performance 100 Presented By Great Deals at Winchester Speedway. Mooi, currently second in the CRA Super Series Rookie Of The Year Standings, gained five positions finishing in 16th in the series last event on August 11^th at Illiana Motor Speedway to raise his total to 44 gained positions for the season.

Fellow rookie contender Sean Matthuis has now moved into second place with 27 gained positions after moving up eight positions in the Illiana event. Jack Smith has now dropped to third place with 26 gained positions, he lost three positions in the Illiana event. Fellow rookie Nick Baran is now in fourth with 24 gained positions, he gained eight positions in the Illiana event.

Part-time series driver Bret Miles Jr. is currently in fifth with 23 gained positions, while only competing in five events to date and is entered in this Sunday’s event at Winchester Speedway. CRA Super Series point’s leader Chris Gabehart is in sixth with nine gained positions.

A driver has to be in the top 15 in series points to be eligible for this award.
