Special from Circle Track
Nationals:

Circle Track Nationals
goes to NASCAR Speedfest at O’Reilly Raceway Park
In an effort to raise local fan
awareness for the Inaugural Circle Track Nationals at O’Reilly Raceway
Park, the partners in promotion of the CTN went to NASCAR Speedfest
this past 3 day weekend at ORP. The CTN set up a booth display on
ORP’s midway featuring one of the Hendricks County Motorsports CRA
Super Series late models for Thursday nights USAC Silver Crown race,
Friday nights NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Race and Saturday’s NASCAR
Busch Series Race. With nearly a packed house 2 of the 3 nights, it
certainly figured to be a great chance to promote the CTN to the local
fan. The surprise came when an overwhelming amount of support came
from fans over 50 miles and as many as 300 miles away!

"Jim and myself have worked really
hard to put a high quality event together across each racing division
that will truly give the racing fans the most short track bang for
their buck," Remarked Chris Gabehart. "We were extremely pleased with
this weekends reception towards that amongst not only local race fans
but race fans from the surrounding states. Many of the fans we had
talked to were already aware of the event. And if they weren’t, by the
time we gave them a few fliers and explained to them its format, most
walked away making travel plans with their group to attend the
Inaugural Circle Track Nationals. We couldn’t be more excited about
our experience at this years Kroger Speedfest at ORP!"

The Inaugural Circle Track Nationals
was adored by racefans of all ages.
The Inaugural Circle Track Nationals
at ORP features "The 100" for the CRA Super Series late models. 45
super late models from 15 states have already pre-registered for the
event! In support of the late models are the USA Modifieds, CRA Street
Stocks and CRA Sportsman. Over the 4 divisions, well over 150 racecars
are expected to attend this year’s event. With purse money totaling
over $80,000 and the lions share of the purse ($53,000+) going to the
super late models, the event is sure to bring the most talented racers
in each of its divisions. Finally, the team behind the Inaugural
Circle Track Nationals doesn’t believe in counting caution laps, so
the weekend will produce over 400 laps of green flag racing with 300
of those laps coming on main event night Saturday September 22.
Tickets for the event will be going
on sale within the next 2 weeks. You can purchase them by either going
to the event website at www.circletracknationals.com and clicking on
"Tickets," or by calling the ORP Box office at (317) 291-4090 and
asking about tickets for the Inaugural Circle Track Nationals. Camping
will also be made available for the event with details coming in the
next few weeks.
