Salem, IN (September 7, 2006) – The Wax Shop Clean Sweep Award has grown to $800 for The CRA Super Series September 24^th Chicago International Trucks 200 at the 41^st Annual National Short Track Championships At Rockford Speedway. The bonus will be awarded to the events Tesar Engineering Racing Engines/ Appleton Rack & Pinion Fast Qualifier, if that person can also win the Chicago International Trucks 200. If the Tesar Engineering Racing Engines/ Appleton Rack & Pinion Fast Qualifier Fast Qualifier does not win that event, the bonus will roll over another $200 for the Winchester 400 on October 15^th.

Jeff Lane was the Appleton Rack & Pinion Fast Qualifier this past Monday at the McGunegill Engine Performance 100 at the famed High Banks of Winchester Speedway. Lane drew a six for the inverted start. Lane steadily worked his way to the front and got second place when Evan Jackson was forced to pit with a blistered tire. Lane tried to pass leader Tommy St. John several times, but would have to settle for second as St. John picked up his first ever CRA Super Series win.

In all five drivers have claimed The Wax Shop Clean Sweep Award so far during the 2006 season including Bobby Parsley who received $200 at Columbus Motor Speedway on June 3, Chris Gabehart who received $200 at IRP on June 17, Jack Landis who received $400 at Anderson Speedway on April 15, Tim Curry who received $600 at Berlin Raceway on May 27 and Brian Campbell who received $800 at Kalamazoo Speedway on July 28^th, the largest payoff for the award so far this season.
