Salem, IN (May 26, 2006) – Illiana Motor Speedway officials have announced that Texas Corral Restaurants will once again sponsor the 5^th Annual Elmer Musgrave Memorial CRA Super Series event on Saturday, June 24^th. This will be the third year in a row that the CRA Super Series has sanctioned that event, it will be the fourth series event ever held at Illiana Motor Speedway.

Wheaton, Illinois driver Eddie Hoffman won his second consecutive Elmer Musgrave Memorial 100 Presented By Texas Corral last season. Hoffman was the events Fast Qualifier again and raced from his sixth place inverted starting position to get the win. Illiana legend and former Track Champion Dave Weltmeyer finished second, Weltmeyer started 14^th and worked his way up quickly through the field to take second on lap 46, but could not mount a real challenge to the dominate Hoffman. Jeff Lane finished in third, former Illiana Track Champions Mike White and Pat Kelly finished 4^th and 5^th.

2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion Ted Musgrave, son of Elmer Musgrave, will be on hand again as a special guest for the event. Musgrave will be competing at the Milwaukee Mile on Friday night June 23^rd in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event. The Illiana Motor Speedway Mid Am Cars and Turbo Street Stocks will also be in action that night.

Texas Corral Restaurants are fun for the whole family with Indiana locations in Merrillville, Highland, Portage as well as Michigan City and a location in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Their menu includes Texas sized steaks, ribs, shrimp, and fajitas for Ma and Pa, and a Little Buckaroos menu for those tinier Texas sized tummies. They are also featuring new summer salads including the zesty Buffalo Wing Ding salad, the sirloin-topped Black and Bleu salad or the tangy Southwest BBQ chicken salad. Pit gates open for the 5^th Annual Elmer Musgrave Memorial Presented By Texas Corral at 1PM. Practice will begin at 3:30PM with qualifying at 5:30PM. An on track autograph session will begin at 6:30PM. The evening race program will begin at 7PM and will include the 5^th Annual Elmer Musgrave Memorial Presented By Texas Corral 100 for the CRA Super Series Presented By Spray Power.
