Louisville, KY (May 11, 2006) – Chuck Barnes Jr. is hitting the road this weekend to promote his new sponsor Crown Spray Power at Camping World in Brunswick, Ohio. That Camping World location is celebrating its 40^th Anniversary with a 10-day Open House and Distributors Expo. Chuck Barnes Jr. will have his #55 Crown Spray Power Monte Carlo Late Model on display and will be signing autographs and talking with visitors this Friday, May 12^th and Saturday, May 13^th.

Barnes Jr. will then take his car to the grand opening of a new Wal-Mart store on Winton Rd. in Cincinnati, Ohio on Wednesday, May 17 for Crown Spray Power. Barnes will have his #55 Crown Spray Power Monte Carlo Late Model on display and will be signing autographs and talking with visitors at that Wal-Mart location from 8am until 6pm.

"I’m really looking forward to doing both shows for Crown Spray Power," remarked Barnes Jr. "It’s always fun to show the racecar to people, especially the ones who have never been up close to an actual racecar before. I enjoy talking with people about the car and about what kind of racing I do. It will be a great opportunity for lots of exposure for Crown Spray Power and for myself. This is a big part of the racing business, especially if you want to move up. You have to be able to represent your sponsors well and sell their product!"

Barnes Jr. will be ready to hit the racetrack again next weekend. Barnes Jr. will compete Saturday night, May 20^th with the KY Clutch & Performance Late Models at Salem Speedway were is currently leading the points after two events with a victory, a second place finish and has been fast qualifier at both events. Then Sunday, May 21^st Barnes Jr. will compete with the CRA Super Series in the CRA Super Sunday 100 lap event at Baer Field Speedway in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

"I won’t get much sleep Saturday night with the travel from Salem back to our shop in Louisville and then up to Ft. Wayne Sunday morning, but I’m really looking forward to racing in both events. I’ve had plenty of time off here the past couple of weeks, I’m ready to get behind the wheel and on the track again!"
