FLF Racecars To
Sponsor CRA Super Series Rookie Award
Salem, IN (March 14, 2006) – CRA
Super Series officials have announced that FLF Racecars, formally
Finishline Fabricating, located in Allegan, Michigan, be an award
sponsor with the series
again
in 2006. The highest finishing registered Rookie in the CRA Super
Series CD-2 Rookie Of The Year Standings, which will be the driver who
accumulates the most points in their best 15 series point races of the
17 scheduled, will receive the FLF Racecars Rookie Performance Award.
The winner of the FLF Racecars Rookie Performance Award will receive a
FLF Racecars Bare Offset Chassis from FLF Racecars. The award winning
team will be responsible for the cost to complete the chassis to a
rolling chassis.
FLF Racecars is owned and operated by
Outlaw Late Model racer Tim Curry. Curry’s business has become one of
the top Outlaw Late Model chassis and body manufactures in the region.
FLF Racecars started fabricating Template Late Model chassis’s in
2003. 2000 CRA Super Series Champion Scott Hantz has used FLF Racecars
Chassis’s since 2003 in the CRA Super Series getting six victories in
those three seasons. Former ASA Racing Series competitor Jack Landis
used a FLF Racecars Chassis to get his first CRA Super Series victory
in June of 2005. Both will utilize FLF Racecars with the CRA Super
Series during the 2006 season.
In 2006 CD-2 Rookie Of The Year
Candidate Michael Gaier of Coldwater, Michigan, will compete with the
CRA Super Series in a FLF Racecars Chassis beginning with this
weekends All American 150 at the Music City Motorplex at the
Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee. FLF Racecars will have a "House
Car" in 2006 that will compete at selected CRA Super Series events
during the season. FLF Racecars owner Tim Curry will be one of several
talented drivers that will be behind the wheel. Veteran racers Tim
Felver and Chet Fillip are also possible drivers in the FLF Racecars
"House Car" in 2006.
