CRA Super Series
Presented By Spray Power Set To Begin 10th Anniversary
Season
Salem, IN (March 16, 2006) –
The CRA Super Series Presented By Spray Power is set to begin its 10th
Anniversary season in this weekend’s All American 150 at the Music
City Motorplex at the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee. The event
has attracted a series point’s event record of 56
pre-entries
from a record 15 different states.
"It’s hard to believe it’s been 10
years since the series started," remarked CRA Super Series Founder and
Managing Partner RJ Scott. "What a way to kick off the 10th
Anniversary season with a huge event at the Music City Motorplex. When
we started planning this event with Jack Deery, we knew it could
become big, but the car count has already surpassed what we expected.
I always hoped we would have racers from as far away as Texas,
Oklahoma, Minnesota and Maine for a CRA Super Series points event and
now it’s happening!"
"A lot of the success of this weekend
goes back to the great success that the revived All American 400
Weekend has had the past two years," remarked Glenn Luckett, Director
of the CRA Super Series. Last year we had 70 of the best late model
teams in the country here for the All American 400 weekend, the
quality of the group entered for this Saturday’s event isn’t far
behind. Opening the season and closing our season at this historic
track is obviously a successful formula for attracting quality late
model racing fields!"
This weekends events will begin with
an open practice on Friday, March 17th.
Pit
gates open at 10:30am Central time, practice will go from 2pm until
7pm with the CRA Super Series alternating with the ASA Late Models.
