A.P. Racing Engines To Sponsor CRA Super Series Event At Toledo Speedway

Salem, IN (June 7, 2006) – CRA Super Series officials have announced that A.P. Racing Engines would be the Sponsor of the CRA Super Series event at Toledo Speedway on Sunday, July 2. The A.P. Racing Engines 100 will be the 8th CRA Super Series event held at Toledo Speedway.

Last season’s A.P. Racing Engines 100 at Toledo Speedway was an exciting event that was yellow flagged twice for rain and finally halted after 91 laps when the rain came and stayed. Michigan’s Johnny Belott and Indiana’s Eddie Van Meter, with his A.P. Racing Engine, raced hard side by side over the last laps trading the lead several times with Belott pulling ahead just before the last yellow flag came out to get the win. It was Belott’s first ever CRA Super Series win. Boris Jurkovic finished in third with JR Roahrig fourth and current CRA Super Series point’s leader Scott Hantz in fifth.

Headquartered in Windsor, Ontario, A.P. Racing Engines has been a leading manufacturer of racing engines for several years. CRA Super Series feature winning drivers Fred Campbell, Andy Ponstein and Matt Hagans have raced CRA Super Series events using engines from A.P. Racing Engines. More information can be found about A.P. Racing Engines by calling their toll free number at 877-737-7308.

The race program will begin at 7pm and will include a 100-lap Royal Glass City Gold Cup-ARCA Late Model feature event for Outlaw Super Late Models. More information is available here.
