Salem, IN (July 18, 2006) – The Wax Shop Clean Sweep Award has grown to $600 for this Saturday’s Hargus Mullins 125 Presented By EMF Corporation, CRA Super Series Presented By Spray Power event at Angola Motor Speedway. The bonus will be awarded to Saturday’s Appleton Rack & Pinion Fast Qualifier, if that person can also win the Hargus Mullins 125 Presented By EMF Corporation. If the Appleton Rack & Pinion Fast Qualifier does not win Saturday, the bonus will roll over $200 per CRA Super Series event until it is awarded, once the bonus is awarded, it will start over again at $200 at the next series event.

Jason Shively earned his first ever Appleton Rack & Pinion Fast Qualifier Award with the CRA Super Series this past Saturday at the Anderson 250 Presented By Great Deals. Shively got to start on the pole for the first time ever for a CRA Super Series feature event. Outside pole sitter Bobby Parsley got the jump on Shively to take the early lead. Contact from another competitor caused Shively to spin early in the event, placing him at the back of the field. The contact also damaged a wheel, which resulted in Shively having to pit and losing several laps. Shively went on to get an 11^th place finish.

In all four drivers have claimed The Wax Shop Clean Sweep Award so far during the 2006 season including Bobby Parsley who received $200 at Columbus Motor Speedway on June 3, Chris Gabehart who received $200 at IRP on June 17, Jack Landis who received $400 at Anderson Speedway on April 15 and Tim Curry who received the highest payoff to date by collecting $600 at Berlin Raceway on May 27.
