OLD NATIONAL PARTNERS WITH SONDI EDEN RACING

Muncie, Ind. (July 7, 2006) – Old National Bancorp (NYSE:ONB) announced today its partnership with Sondi Eden Racing of Crawfordsville, Indiana.  Sondi Eden is a driver in the CRA Late Model Super Series driving for Hendricks County Motorsports and owner Jim Winters.

“Sondi’s past accomplishments as both the first and only female USAC champion, her commitment to excellence in both her personal and professional life, and Sondi’s ‘unbeatable’ attitude are what attracted her to us for this partnership” comments Old National Bancorp President and CEO Bob Jones.  “Motorsports is an important part of Indiana’s economy and, as the largest bank holding company headquartered in Indiana,  Old National wants to associate itself with the industry and one of its most promising drivers, Sondi Eden,” Jones continues.

“Old National’s ‘unbeatable’ attitude, its reputation as a first-class financial institution and the company’s commitment to promoting opportunities for women make this association ‘a natural’ for a female driver, like me” comments Sondi Eden.  “When I first met Bob (CEO Bob Jones) it was clear that his sincerity for my success was genuine.  It’s my hope that Old National’s customers see a clear connection between my winning attitude and their bank’s commitment to putting their customers first.”

Sondi Eden will be making a personal appearance on Friday, July 14th from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Old National’s Anderson East Banking Center located at 219 S. Scatterfield Road.  Eden will be signing autographs and taking pictures with her fans. Fifty lucky race fans will win tickets to the July 15th race at Anderson Speedway at 8pm.

Sondi Eden, in addition to being a USAC champion, was one of 25 participants selected from among 1700 to participate in the Discovery Channel’s “Driver X” series with Roush Racing.  She is currently 8th in points in the CRA Late Model Super Series and is known for her consistent “hard charger” results and as driver that capitalizes upon opportunities to advance within the pack.
