Torches & Regulators To Continue Season Lap Leader Award Sponsorship
Salem, IN (February 22, 2006)
– CRA Super Series officials have announced that Harris Cutting
Torches & Regulators has agreed to continue its sponsorship of the
Harris Cutting Torches &
Regulators
Season Lap Leader Awards for the upcoming CRA Super Series 2006
season. Harris Cutting Torches & Regulators, a division of Harris
Calorific, will award the CRA Super Series driver that leads the most
laps in the regular 100/125 lap series point’s events on the 2006
schedule with a set of Harris Cutting Torches & Regulators. This will
be the fourth consecutive season that Harris Cutting Torches &
Regulators has been a sponsor of the CRA Super Series.
In addition, Harris Cutting Torches &
Regulators
will award the driver who leads the most laps in the special events on
the 2006 CRA Super Series schedule with a set of Harris Cutting
Torches & Regulators. The special events scheduled to date would
include the All American 150 at the Music City Motorplex in Nashville,
Tennessee on March 18th, the Anderson 250 at Anderson
Speedway on July 15th , the 200-lap 41st Annual
National Short Track Championship event at Rockford Speedway on
September 24th, the Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway on October
15th and the All American 300 at the Music City Motorplex
in Nashville, Tennessee on November 5th. Both awards will
be presented at the 2006 CRA Super Series Awards Banquet.
2004 CRA Super Series Rookie Of The
Year Chris Gabehart won the Harris
Cutting
Torches & Regulators Season Lap Leader Award for the CRA Super Series
2005 season in the100/125 lap events. Gabehart lead a total of 215
laps in the 100/125 lap events during the 2005 season. Veteran late
model racer Eddie Hoffman, driver for 2005 CRA Super Series Owners
Points Champion Tom Kmak and his TK Racing team, won the Harris
Cutting Torches & Regulators Season Lap Leader Award for the CRA Super
Series 2005 special events. Hoffman led 398 laps in claiming a victory
at the Anderson 400 at Anderson Speedway on July 16th and a
victory in the 40th Annual National Short Track
Championships at Rockford Speedway on September 25th.
