Salem, IN (April 18, 2006) – CRA Super Series officials have announced that The Joie Of Seating has become the Official Racing Seat of the CRA Super Series Presented By Spray Power for the 2006 race season. The Joie Of Seating is owned by two-time NASCAR Busch Series Champion Randy LaJoie, who has raced everything from weekly shows to NASCAR’s top level the Nextel Cup Series, but there’s one thing left on his list. 

LaJoie’s new focus is to make sure every driver, regardless of age or racing level, has the most up-to-date safety products and information implemented in their racecars.  For years LaJoie has been at the forefront of racing seat safety with his company, The Joie of Seating, but now he is putting an emphasis on sharing safety information with novice and experienced short track drivers.  Previously, this information was only available to the top-tier racers.

For LaJoie, racing safety goes beyond just having a safe seat mounted inside the racecar.  There are many more things racers can do to make sure they are safe on the racetrack, and that’s exactly what LaJoie is trying to relay to drivers all around the country. CRA Super Series drivers Andy Ponstein and Steve Moenck both use seats from The Joie Of Seating as does former CRA Super Series Champion and current NASCAR Busch Series Rookie contender Joel Kauffman.

The Joie Of Seating will support the CRA Super Series by awarding a complete Saturday Night Special Racing Seat as well as a $500 Product Certificate by random draw of the top 15 in final 2006 CRA Super Series points at the awards banquet.
