Winchester, IN (May 17, 2005) – The MAX 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stocks will finally make there much anticipated debut in the Grand Re-Opening Weekend at Winchester Speedway this weekend. The Grand Re-Opening Weekend was originally scheduled for Sunday, April 24^th, but was postponed because of inclement weather.

The weekend will begin with an open practice on Saturday, May 21 for any division racing at Winchester Speedway in 2005, pits open at 10AM, the track will be open for practice from 1PM until 6PM. On Sunday, May 22 the MAX 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stocks will have practice, qualifications, heat races and will end the days events with a 30 lap, $1000 to win feature.

Sunday’s event for the MAX 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stocks will be the first of six events for that division this season. The MAX 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stocks will also race 30 lap features for $1000 to win and regular event points at Winchester Speedway on Sunday, June 12, Sunday, August 14, Monday, September 5 and at Salem Speedway on Sunday, October 23^rd.

The MAX 93.5/96.7 200 for the MAX 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stocks will take place at Winchester Speedway on Sunday, September 18. This $5000 to win double points event could start up to 100 cars for 200 laps of exciting racing action. There are already 43 cars registered from six states for that event, that event registration guarantees that entered car there registered car number for every MAX 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stock event this season.

The top five finishers in MAX 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stocks points in 2005 will be honored at the 2005 CRA Super Series Awards Banquet. The 2005 MAX 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stock Champion will receive the following: a complete 9" Floater Housing/Hub/Axle package from Moser Engineering, a Race Suit from Leaf Racewear, a $300 Product Certificate towards a new helmet from Ray Skillman Discount Performance Parts, and a Product Package from The Wax Shop, who will also award Product Packages to each event winner during the season. Second through fifth place will receive Product Certificates from all the companies listed above.

The Winchester Speedway Grand Re-Opening Weekend will also feature the King Of The Wings Sprint Car Challenge Presented By Pier-Mac Plastics and the Manning Service 100 Presented By Spray Power for the CRA Super Series. On Sunday, May 22^nd Pit Gates open at 8AM, Spectator Gates open at 10AM, the racing program will begin at 2PM.
