CRA Super Series Introduces New "Official Photographers" for the 2005
Season
Salem, IN (March 1, 2005)
- Longtime followers of the Midwestern-based Champion Racing Association
(CRA) Super Series for Late Models, Bob Milner and Scot French have joined
together to become the official photographers for CRA in 2005. The two
have been independent photojournalists covering the series since it began
in 1997.
"Scot and I are thrilled to
have this opportunity with CRA," noted Milner. "It has always been a
favorite series for both of us, but timing and scheduling had never
allowed us to actually be able to provide consistent photo service to CRA.
We’re really looking forward to this."
Both photographers have
substantial experience in the area of motorsports photography. French has
been behind the camera for 26 years. A track photographer at Flat Rock
Speedway for 5 years, he began to pursue traveling series such as ASA,
ICEMAN, and the MAIN EVENT, before becoming involved with CRA.
Milner’s photographic
experience spans over 20 years; from Indy Cars, pro drag racing, to his
real passion: short track stock cars. In recent years, he has provided
photographic services to ASA and is a regular contributing photographer to
Speed51.com, as well as a variety of racing news publications.
Milner and French view their
photography as an art-form, not just photo journalism. Utilizing
state-of-the-art equipment, they will be providing CRA officials, its
competitors, sponsors and fan with outstanding photo imagery and media
coverage, including imagery for the series website:
www.craracing.net.
The new "Official
Photographers" will see their first action of the year when the CRA Super
Series opens its season at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, April 16.
