Hamner Racing Engines To Support CRA Super Series In 2005

Salem, IN (March 7, 2005) – CRA Super Series Officials have announced that Hamner Racing Engines will be a supporter of the CRA Super Series starting with the upcoming 2005 race season. Hamner Racing Engines will award a $500 Product Certificate to any team winning a CRA Super Series event using a motor from Hamner Racing Engines. In addition Hamner Racing Engines will award a $300 Product Certificate for any team finishing second or a $200 Product Certificate for any team finishing third in a CRA Super Series event using a motor from Hamner Racing Engines.

Hamner Racing Engines are built and maintained primarily for short track racing, and are now expanding their business area after mostly concentrating in the race-intensive Southeast for several years. After working for his dad in an engine related business, Jeff Hamner ventured out on his own; with the help of Gary Bradberry (former Nextel Cup Driver) and their team operation, Jeff set up his first shop. In 1996, Jeff began his own family business in McCalla, Alabama. Jeff’s goal was to take his business to the next level by building short track/touring series racing engines.

The company gained exposure in 1996 by winning the Hooter's Series and NASCAR Southwest Tour Championships. After six years, several poles, wins, and championships, the business moved to their current facility in West Blocton, Alabama. Hamner Racing Engines has grown to service over 45 racing teams in various racing series and continues to build reliable race and championship winning motors. Hamner Racing Engines are currently building engines for CRA Super Series drivers Scott Hantz and Greg Boone.
