Anderson Speedway Open
Practice Report
Anderson, IN (March 27, 2005) - 10
CRA Super Series late models made it to Anderson Speedway for the open
practice. A mix of rookie and championship contenders got in some laps
on a very cold and damp afternoon.
The 2005 rookie contenders on hand
included 2004 Illiana Motor Speedway Late Model Champion John Nutley,
Jason Shively, Jason Setser and 16 year old Jeff Bland Jr.
Championship contenders on hand included
series veteran Jeff Lane, 2004 Rookie Of The Year Chris Gabehart and
2004 Rookie runner-up Steve Moenck along with 1997 series Champion Kenny
Tweedy. Tim Phillips and part-time series driver Nick Adams were also
taking some laps.
Evan Jackson was working with Jason Setser
while veteran Crew Chief and racer Tim Neal was helping Jeff Bland Jr.
Veteran series drivers Bull Baker and
Eddie Van Meter were at the track observing only.
There will be an open practice at Anderson
Speedway on Friday, April 15th from 4PM until dark.
