Salem, IN (June 28, 2005) – Independence, Missouri driver Billy Crane leads the Howe Racing Performance Award Season Standings after eight CRA Super Series Presented By Spray Power point’s events so far this season. Howe Racing will award the driver who gains the highest number of positions through out the entire 2005 season, that is in the top fifteen in final CRA Super Series points, with a $400 cash bonus at the 2005 series awards banquet. To date Crane has gained 62 total positions, which is an average of over seven gained positions per event so far in 2005. The teenager, who is competing for the series Finishline Fabricating/Cometic Gasket Rookie Of The Year Award, is currently 10^th in season points.

Another teenager, Landon Cassill from Fairfax, Iowa is currently second with 41 gained positions. The surprise with Cassill, is that he has gained that many positions while only racing in five of the eight series points events this season, which is an average of over eight positions gained in each event he has raced so far in 2005. Cassill, who is competing full-time with the ASA Late Model Series, is currently 14^th in CRA Super Series season points. Cassill is currently second in ASA Late Model Series season points, three behind point’s leader Brian Campbell.

Jason Shively is in third with 32 gained positions. Last weeks winner at Illiana Motor Speedway Eddie Hoffman, is currently in fourth with 24 gained positions. Rounding out the top five is Jack Landis with 14 gained positions.
