Jason Shively Commits to Rookie of the Year Schedule with CRA Super Series

Spencerville, IN (January 5, 2005) - Shively Racing co-owner Jeff Shively announced today that Jason Shively will be driving a full series and competing for Rookie of the Year with Champion Racing Association (CRA) Super Series in 2005.  Jason began his racing career in 1999 racing in the late model division at Fort Wayne & Angola Indiana; where he was very successful with several wins.  

In 2004 Jason broke the track record at Baer Field Speedway 4 times throughout the season and is the current track record holder for fast time on 3/8 mile track in the late model division.  In addition he was Baer Field's fast qualifier 7 out of 9 weeks that he raced at the track taking two feature wins.   Jason raced twice with CRA last year and showed promise with the series. He also ran one Super Late race at Baer Field Speedway promoted by CRA where he finished in the 7th spot after starting in the 18th position.
