Port City Racecars Extends Sponsorship Of
CRA Super Series For 2005 and 2006 Seasons
Salem, IN (January 19,
2005) – Port City Racecars has agreed extended their sponsorship of
the CRA Super Series for both the upcoming 2005
race
season and the 2006 season as well. The 2005 season will be the fifth
straight season that Port City Racecars has supported the CRA Super Series
as a Contingency Sponsor. Port City Racecars will award a $100 Product
Certificate to the highest finishing driver in a Port City Chassis at
every CRA Super Series event in 2005 and 2006. Port City Racecars will
also award the highest finishing driver in a Port City Chassis in the
final 2005 and 2006 CRA Super Series season points with a $400 Product
Certificate.
Port City Chassis’s were
used by Chuck Barnes Jr. to win the 2004 CRA Super Series Championship and
by Chris Gabehart to win the 2004 CRA Super Series Rookie Of The Year
Award. In all Port City Chassis’s won 10 of the series 18 events led by
veteran series contender Jeff Lane with 3 wins. Chuck Barnes Jr. recorded
2 series wins in a Port City Chassis including his season ending win at
the prestigious All American 300 at the Music City Motorplex in Nashville,
Tennessee.
