Texas Roadhouse and Baymont Inn Combine for Great Night

Fans and Teams Expect to Gather for Dinner, Race and Overnight Stay Prior to Columbus Event

Salem, IN (September 3, 2004) –Although the racing program for the "Buckeye Bash" at Columbus Motor Speedway doesn’t start until Sunday, September 12th, many teams and visiting fans will be taking advantage of a great Texas Roadhouse-Baymont Inns combination in Columbus the night before. Both companies serve as official sponsors of the event, and are within 200 feet of each other in the Polaris area on the north side of Columbus. The Sunoco Super Series Late Models will highlight the racing activities the next day, with 150 lap event featuring NASCAR star Ken Schrader.

The night before, many will gather at Texas Roadhouse for a great dinner and to watch the Nextel Cup race on TV, where NASCAR Kenny Schrader will be racing before flying into Columbus the next morning. Following the race, many teams will just walk across the parking lot to their hotel for the night, the Baymont Inn.

"It’s a great situation for everyone," race organizer Jeff Miller noted. "With many people coming in town the night before, we have a great arrangement for everyone to have dinner, enjoy the NASCAR race, and stay at great hotel, all within 200 feet of each other. You can’t beat the great steaks at Texas Roadhouse, or the great rooms at Baymont Inns."

For room reservations and a Sunoco Super Series discount at the Baymont Inn, interested parties can call 614-791-9700.

Racing for the Sunday, September 12th Federated Auto Parts Buckeye Bash presented by K95.5 at Columbus Motor Speedway is slated to start at 2 pm. Discount coupons are available throughout the Columbus area, with locations available on line at www.sunocosuperies.com
