Sunoco Super Series Season Championship Event
Salem, IN (October 19,
2004) – Sunoco Super Series officials announced today that Crown Spray
Power Multi Purpose Cleaner will be the Primary Sponsor of this Sunday’s
Sunoco Super Series 125 lap Season Championship event at Salem Speedway.
The Spray Power 125 Presented By Sunoco and John Jones GM City will bring
to a close the 2004 series points season that will have included fifteen
events. Chuck Barnes Jr.
currently
holds a 26-point lead over Scott Hantz and a 61-point lead over third
place runner Junior Hanley heading into Sunday’s event.
Crown Spray Power is also
the sponsor of the Spray Power Clean Sweep Award with the Sunoco Super
Series, which has grown to $1,350 if the Corteco Fast Qualifier for the
Spray Power 125 Presented By Sunoco and John Jones GM City can also win
that event. Starting with the Sunoco Super Series season opener at
Anderson Speedway, Spray Power has put up $150 bonus if a driver can be
the events fast qualifier and win that event. Each time the Spray Power
Clean Sweep Award is not claimed it will roll over $150 per series point’s
event until the bonus is won.
